Hot Dog Dog

Hot Dog Dog is a 270 word, humorous-fiction, picture book.

When Ellie tells her best friend, Sara, that her favorite birthday gift was a hot dog, Sara can't believe her ears. A hot dog that does tricks sounds too good to be true! She decides that she wants a fun hot dog of her own! Lucky her for her, there is one left in the fridge, but her hot dog is no fun at all!

Barbara is a little girl with a very unique problem. She can only say words that start with the letter B! Barbara and her family try everything they can think of to cure her case of the B's, but nothing seems to help. After years of eating bran-flakes and playing the bassoon Barbara gets an idea that just might work.

Cut a Rug Doug is a 950 word picture book.

Doug is a fifth grader at Tucker Elementary. He has been waiting all his elementary life to strut his stuff at the fifth grade talent show. When it's time to sign up, Jenna Thompson and her crew of giggling girls decide to tease and taunt him about his talent in front of everyone. Doug must overcome their bullying in order to become the star he knows he can be.

Mr. McFlippin's in Love

Mr. McFlippin's in Love is a 440 word rhyming picture book composed of 24 couplets.

Mr. McFlippin is a frog that can dance. When he boogies by a florist, he decides to enjoy the flowers and happens to see the prettiest girl in his whole town. Love at first sight takes over. McFlippin wonders if she will like him too. It's not long before she gives him a special sign, and the rest is history!
